Question on Identifying
Should you identify things before you salvage them? Didn't know if that gave you more raw materials, let you see a suffix to possibly use an advanced kit on or did nothing at all.

If you identify the item you'll know what you're salvaging. I.e. it may say HIGHLY Salvagable, or Precious. Precious sales for more, so you may not want to salvage it. If you salvage it without identifying you'll (not confirmed) get whatever you normally get for that type of item. For example, you'll get a wood plank for a long bow if you don't identify it, whereas if it came up as Highly Salvagable, you might get 3 wood planks instead. I wouldn't mind seeing some hard number modifiers so I know when it's best to salvage, or ID though.

It's a good idea to identify all blue "Unidentified" items before you do anything with them. It's a bad idea to identify regular white items before you do something with them because you pretty much know everything there is to know about it already.
Blue items have a hidden status that can make the item more valuable to you and something you might want to keep, or it could be "Precious" and then something you might want to sell to a merchant, or it could be "Highly Salvageable" and thus be something you want to salvage. White items are what they are.....ID'ing them won't tell you much more. |

The other and most important reason to Identify is to "unlock" Runes or other "special" characteristics such as hilts or pommels and the like. These items can then be salvaged with and Expert Salvage kit and used to enhance or build better weapons and armor.
